Introduction Jolt Education LLC (“Jolt”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

 

This policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website “www.jolteducation.com” (the “Website”) or when using our browser plugin as advertised on our Website (the “Plugin”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information. Our Website allows our users to select child-friendly learning videos from a curated library and easily input them into their lessons and slide shows. This Privacy Policy also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information.

The Digital Platforms shall be subject to the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy shall govern the use of all pages and features on the Digital Platforms, and any services provided by or on the Digital Platforms, as well as the use of the Plugin.

C. Use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) located in the U.S. for data storage and security.

D. Use of a physical firewall of data in hand and cyber firewall through AWS.

 

Your information may be collected, used, processed, transferred, and retained in the United States, which may be outside the region in which you are situated and may have different privacy or data protection legislation, and may therefore be subject to the laws of the United States. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or a country which restricts data transfers outside of that jurisdiction or region without your consent, by using our Websites and App, you consent to your information being transferred outside of the European Economic Area or your country for processing or storage by or on behalf of us.

 

VII. Disclosure of your information

A. You can review and change your Personal Information by logging into the Digital Platforms and visiting your account profile page.

We cannot delete your Personal Information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

 

IX. Your State Privacy Rights

 

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their Personal Information. A. It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the Privacy Policy has been updated on the Digital Platforms home page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Digital Platforms home page. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our Digital Platforms and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
